Has anyone else found this to be as heartwarming and charming as snuggling up to an old chair with a book and a bottle of hootch? I've never experienced anything quite like Eugene Walter. I think it's time the world learns a bit more about this incredible man.

But, I live across the bay from Mobile and relate to all the wonderful things he describes about his hometown. It's also a plus that his wordage and cadence is what I've heard all of my life so it feels as if I'm reading letters from an old friend. (less)
