Does anyone else feel that there is embellishment/fabrication in this tale? This occurred to me a third of the way through, after the n-th unbelievable escape from death of the book's author. The author also seems to meet too many major players from other holocaust stories, and visits too many famous concentration camps. I loved the book and do not deny the holocaust, but doubts gave me an uneasy feeling.
