Paleo is a litt…moreThe Atkins diet skews the traditionally accepted proportion of macronutrients (fat/protein/carbs) by recommending a high-protein diet. Paleo is a little less skewed because it isn't so protein-heavy. It recommends a variety of vegetables to provide plenty of carbohydrates, but it cuts out gluten and soy among other things. Essentially, Paleo is a lot more finicky than Atkins, but at least it doesn't promote endless amounts of red meat? (less)
