Of course, he's talking a Connecticut Blackbird, not an English/ European one, for then the title need must be, "Thirteen Ways of Hearing a Blackbird." I spoke on European Blackbirds--the one McCartney says "sing in the dead of night"--at Kensington Library, near Prince William's (and his mother Diana's) Palace, and also in Italian, in Milan (on Un Merlo Buon' Veneziano).(less)
