So I picked up this book out of a free little library and I didn't know it was the third in a series. Does it stand alone or do I need to read the other two first?

My public library has all but 4 in audiobook format. They have 3 in print, and I will have to see if I can get the last one (which is actually #3 in the series) through inter library loan. If you like this one, consider the whole series.(less)
