I have not yet finished the book but am almost there. I did not like it very much maybe because it is my first read of patricia's pen but I found her to be very distant as a writer. I think the plot is also a bit silly and am getting also confused with the amount of characters in the book.

Having characters that reappear throughout the series gives it a continuity and richness that it would not otherwise have. I reread these books numerous times and never get bored because there is much more going on than a simple murder mystery.(less)
