Does Mark Greaney ever make Court Gentry personable? Like Gabriel Allon in Daniel Silva's books or Mitch Rapp in Vince Flynn's? Personal background and depth of character were a definite turn-off to me in the first book.

Rouve F I found the same problem (and kept on comparing him to the Orphan X series as well). It is definitely a better book, so I would say yes :)
