Oh my! I need a mug of coffee. This mystery by Ruth Rendell is definitely not a cozy. I wanted to read her. I had read or heard of her hard boiled mysteries. Still, I wasn't ready for what is unfolding in this mystery. I am sorry she died. She was another great author from the past. Life is complex. Any suggestions for another one one of her mysteries?
