Last year I read Alan Bullock's monumental biography of Hitler and Stalin. I'm tempted by this, but I fear I might be "Stalined out". Is this worth reading? Full of revelations?

Would it be better to read this before or after Montefiore's Stalin: In the Red Court of the Tsar? (Considering respective dates of writing vs chronology of the subject?)

ParisianIrish I would say before. Young Stalin has the feel of being Part 1 of the story.
