Has anyone who read this book can tell me about its academic acuracy? I'm investigating on the representation of redhead female models in the 19th century and reading Red a Natural History of the redhead was a huge disappointment! No references at all, very shady assertions and quotations and more a personal memoir after all. I'm so mad I spent 16k for this very average book, I don't wanna make the same mistake.
