I am planning on reading this book soon. I have some concerns already. How is one described as raped in the description when one is 20 and is electing to do all these actions with consent. There are studies showing that separated biological families who dont grow up together have a strong bond that can be confusing. It is well documented, to call her a rape victim when she is an adult who consented'misleading" right?

She most likely is basing it off that or it's a more validating way of explaining what happened to her. Like looking back she feels like it was sex, but a "Rape of trust" or something along those lines. Like an analogy.
