Does anyone know if the amount of pedophilia (especially between court women and young girls) in this book is historically accurate? Through research I saw that important parts of the story were true about Empress Wu, but I couldn't find anything about these relationships. The sheer amount of them in the book makes me wonder if this was a common thing in that time or if the author was just taking strange liberties.
