Is there really any romance in this? I gone through several reviews and other than the evil wizard, griffin and singing gypsy, there don't seem to be any other character mentions. Reviews say there is, but with no indication of what or who it would be with.

A review contained the following: "the heroine does not have sex with in the series is the Griffin - all other species seem to be fair game - am talking horses, wolves, bulls and sheeplike creature". Are we talking like centaurs and minotaurs?
