Why can't I find it on iBooks? :(

I currently read through my kindle app on my iPad but my husband prefers reading through iBooks. I often find free books on Amazon that I think he'll like so I go onto iBooks and "purchase" the books through iBooks. I was surprised to find that about 20% of the time the book wasn't available on iBooks and about 30% of the time even if it was on iBooks it was significantly more on iBooks. I was shocked when a few of the books were free or $0.99 on Amazon and well over $10-$15 on iBooks for the same book. I wish there was an easier way to get the best price and read it in whatever format you prefer. (less)
