This may be of no consequence, but, did I overlook who the reveal of the identity of the gentleman that lived across from the movie theater where Maggie and her family lived when she was a girl? I noticed she wondered about him towards the end of the book and realized as I finished it, I don't know who it was! Surely it was of some importance...
Anna G I just finished it and wondered.what the heck? There was a whole story spun around his watching from afar ...I kept waiting...never saw it.

What did the title have to do with it?
Regina Blevins I believe the title referred to the dream of living in the big mansion on the hill, and of course Charles.
