I haven't read the book but just watched the trailer, and she starts by saying she couldn't afford a vehicle, so she got these feral camels, trained them, and built the saddles. And I'm thinking... so how much did all THAT cost?! Seriously, you couldn't find a road-worthy vehicle for less than it cost to buy, house, feed, and outfit a bunch of camels??? Is that explained any better in the book?
