mike had talke about problem which all the countries in the world had faced but i would be more happy if he had suggested sollution to these problems. no doubt industrialisation is directly linked to urbanisation and so do slums. we have not seen econbomic development without industrialisation. so what is the best sollution for these problems?

The author explicitly stated that he doesn't claim to have the answer to reducing the slum phenomenon without introducing a host of other issues.

That said, looking at the footnotes & endnotes provides bibliographical info on academics and economists who do put forth claims of solutions. Best to trawl through them and read their articles.(less)
