Based on Lydea's story near the end, Mag may be Ducon's daughter, since his father is this prince or leader from the other city and he (Ducon) is the artist who paints in the taverns. But is that the real story? The author left a lot to the reader's imagination by not answering directly that question.</spoiler>(less)
