It's a bit quirky but very accessible, being humorous with a lot of action and adventure, so definitely not something very dry and arduous like a hard sci-fi book can be. It's also split into 5 separate stories, so you easily stop after one of them and pick up the book again later. (less)

This might explain Tuf's adversion to the fantasy Tolly Mune creates about them. Tuf wanted to let it be known that no such thing happened.(less)
