Is this book appropriate for 7th grade students?

Eliza It is most definitely appropriate for 7th graders. I read it in 4th grade.

A very late question - after reading this as a library copy, we wondered about some of the terms used by the author. Mouse, a brilliant 6-year-old (who oddly doesn't understand what "late" means) says that a man in the airport security line "takes cuts." What does that mean? We are English speakers from birth, BTW!??
