I know this book is part of a series - fictfact.com says it's book 3 of 4. However, it seems that books 3 and 4 are just reissues of books 1 and 2. Does anyone know for sure?

Malcolm. The answer is, Silent Lies and Deceptive Intentions were republished by Harper Collins as Heart of Lies and Heart of Deception. So there are really only two books in the series. If you liked any of them, my latest novel, The Cuban Connection, has just been released. While it is NOT a sequel, the main character appeared in both of my previous books. Her name is Katherine O'Connor. She was a friend of Maddy's, and in this book is working as a foreign correspondent in Castro's Cuba in 1960.(less)
