What if all MK-Ultra attempts at hypnosis/programming failed, and books like this were a double-bluff designed to keep the idea alive, for whatever reason (such as, so they didn't look incompetent and wasteful of money and resources). Just a thought. Why not just get a spy to act as a courier, or give an operative an assignment consciously? So that the courier could operate without attracting suspicion.

Will somebody combine this with The Control of Candy Jones? It's the same book. I can't find out how to make the edit, or whether I have permission to do so.
