why did Edward Wilson lose his US nationality?
Asterope Sounds like it was by choice. When you become a citizen of many countries, they require you to renounce/sever your ties to your previous one.

He wanted to be a citizen of the UK, so renounced his citizenship to America. That's about it. Nothing scandalous. LOL.
