If you're looking for setting in general, The author details what would be a white farm during that time period in detail on pages 9-17. Each page give bits such as a barn, home, and a kitchen set apart from the house... for that time period. Students even are able to use the items the Logan's own to see setting and time period using quotes to support their answers(less)
