Thinking of experiencing this one as an audiobook. Have found two versions. One calls itself Jason and the Golden Fleece (The Argonautica), the other, simply The Argonautica. The first is about six and a quarter hours long, the second almost 15 hours. Both claim to be unabridged So my question is - is there more in the Argonautica than Jason and the Fleece?

Ted I have a feeling that the publisher of the shorter version is playing with words, when they say it is an unabridged recording. Seaton's classic translation has been considerably revised for this recording by Nicolas Soames," That sounds, to me, like this is an unabridged recording of an abridged edition.(less)
