You claim that after hundreds of rapes and instances of unprotected sex with men who were sexually promiscuous, you never got an STD and never became pregnant because angels washed everything away in the baths that you took afterwards. My question is this. Are you serious, and do you really expect anyone to believe that? Also, what if someone actually does believe you?

Being from Michigan and very familiar with the area and the school system she references, what she describes as having happened is entirely plausible. After seeing and hearing her speak, it is clear that she was a victim of human trafficking. Maybe a little more diligence in your research before you cast stones is in order.(less)

Did anyone else have to set this aside for a few weeks? About half-way through - I've decided it's in my best interest to skim through parts of this so I can read the rest of this book. It's a very difficult subject to write about, read about, to overcome and try to defeat in this world. Everyone thinks trafficking happens somewhere else, people don't think it could be happening to their family or neighbors.
