For wh…moreI have been trying to read all of the Shannara books, I had to backtrack and skip around to figure out which books are part of which storyline. For what I get so far, all the regular dwellers (man, Elves, Dwarves, Lizards, Spiders,) of the land, are living in an area that was encircled by a magical barrier, which is slowly dissipating. There's one man who has a Black Staff and seems to know magic. I am not sure if this is the first book of this series or if it is in the middle, either way, the story is typical Terry Brooks style (less)
