Hey. I heard lots of great things about this book. Thinking of getting it for someone for xmas, but curios is this book like the book thief in the way that you dont need to be a regular ya reader to enjoy this? The person am thinking about giving this to does not normally read ya,and I wouldent want to give it to her and she wount enjoy the book.

but I would say 14,
that way the reader would have learnt about apartheid, abortions, suicide and hanging and that sort of thing to understand the message the author is conveying.(less)
