Don't judge Susan Isaacs by one book. I've read everything she's ever written over the past 40 years and by far her best work is "Magic Hour". If you haven't read that one, don't be done with her until you do. I keep reading her books hoping she'll give us another gem like this one. So far, she hasn't (Shining Through came close) but I know she has it in her! Anyone agree?
