I would however say that you have to consider the trope of "your first love is your forever love" being a hugely forced notion in these kinds of books. Otherwise, it doesn't get extremely explicit.

But, just a personal preference, this is not a book I'd recommend to an easily influenced teen; it may incite and perpetuate falsehoods about a "romantic" outlook on life.(less)
