I agree with everything said here. I just finished the quartet, and am a little overwhelmed. I do have a very small question: what are the 3 words Piggott writes on the "damp" paper at the very end??? I am probably an idiot for asking but I must know. Please. Help. Me.

In the last paragraph on page 193 of the black lizard edition, Reverend Law begins telling a story about Jesus, Mary Magadene, and Joseph of Arimathea. They embark on the white ship which sinks with them on it. Is this a story that Peace made up or does it come from some source? Bryce A. Suderow
