Looks like a great picture book on Rainbow Families. Have you ever done a unit on LGBTQ in your classroom? I'm curious to see how different schools / grade levels approach this subject.

Book by George Shannon is something I would recommend! It has the benefit of covering a great diversity of families while also teaching important (and sometimes difficult to grasp) literacy and counting skills! (less)
