I just finished Dragon Keeper and it was my least favourite Hobb's novel so far. After reading some reviews on Dragon Haven, I feel fairly pessimistic about the following 3 books (including this one). I don't want to keep reading for the sake of completionism nor to make a chore of it. Will I miss out on crucial plot elements by skipping to Fool's Assassin? Cheers. Much appreash.

Turquoiselynx The second book is really good. I know all sorts of problems surfaced in the first book, but it gets resolved in the second book.
