Each story has it's own heroine and hero in it so you can start at any book you like :) They …moreNo. The series just has the land it's set in, in common. Each story has it's own heroine and hero in it so you can start at any book you like :) They might be good for stand alones because it is different heroines and heros (but I can't say because I've only read this one so far).
