What is the cover art? I really like it, it drew me in immediately when I saw it a Half price books. Who painted it, who is it actually supposed to be(if it the 4 sisters of Provence, which is which and when, and was it contemporary or historical? I leant my mom my copy so I can't check now but I remember looking and couldn't find any info. If anyone knows please share, references would be great too.

The Très Riches Heures is a beautiful example of French Gothic manuscript illustration and the work itself is known for its calendar pages.
