I will admit, I haven't finished this book yet. However, the main thing keeping me from being hooked by this story is that I have this burning question: has this woman ever been to Missouri? There is a distinct flavor/tone of rural Missouri and it is not in this book at all. The tone is all wrong and it takes me out of the story!
