No offence but why the book jacket? Why this edition? Nice looking model but the only person it could be is Alec. All the other main characters , even Reg, have blond or red hair.

How is the feel reading this book? Is it sad and depressing or has an equal amount of light and refreshing moments? I'm worried because of the war setting, is there still moments that can make you laugh? I'm fairly curious but i don't quite dare to read it yet

It's about characters who are coming to terms with their homosexuality and what that might mean for their lives, or have already come to terms with it, or may never come to terms with it. It's a look at love between men, two types of love really. The two main characters have war injuries, but have acclimated to them. The more serious injuries and deaths happen to characters on the periphery.(less)
