Is this mostly about the trial afterwards or the actual crime. Looking for an interesting yet informative book (psychologist in the making). I remember reading Columbine by Dave Cullen and I really enjoyed that. Is this similar?

It's not *like* _Columbine_ (which I also have read and admire), because Breo & Martin don't have the wealth of primary source material that Cullen does and so *can't* examine the central event from a multitude of angles++++++++, but it is a very clear, readable exploration of Richard Speck's crime and trial.(less)
