Please tell me it gets better?! I loved all of the previous books (with the exception of the nauseating overuse of the words “vertigo” and “frisson”), but this one (so far) is ridiculous with how every supporting character group is all just coming into their absolutely *perfect* powers and everyone is *perfectly* matched.. and OMG Whales that shoot lightning out their blowholes..seriously??
