Does anyone have recommendations by a similar author? I've really enjoyed the books I've read from him and I'd like to find some more authors in this style if possible.

Mike Steve Amick’s “The Lake, the River & the Other Lake” is similar in many ways IMO. Small town, quirky characters, etc. Very fun read IIRC.

It’s been a while so I don’t remember the details, but it seems some here on GR had a negative reaction to sexually explicit content, so I guess check out some of the reviews or be generally aware of that before diving in.(less)

The father replies, "Well, you gotta start somewhere." I have used this advice -- start somewhere, start small, watch it grow.(less)
