O.k. it's been a while since I've read a good scary thriller and saul sounds like my cup of tea but I'm having trouble finding out what book to start with. Any suggestions?

These are chiller/thrillers, not the gory horror. Gore does nothing for me. You'll enjoy these books. I am extremely picky, and nothing really "scares" me. These books did a good job.(less)
