As in, both Netw…moreI feel as though this is fairly subjective, because I LOVED Fugitive Telemetry. System Collapse is a direct sequel to Network Effect. As in, both Network Effect and System Collapse likely take place after the events of Fugitive Telemetry. There is no down time between books Five and Seven.

So if you liked Network Effect, you will probably like this one.(less)

It feels like th…moreIt doesn't sound like Martha has a set plan (or at least I haven't read anything) for a specific final number of books in the series. It feels like the story arc is still building in my opinion.
I just finished Book 7 and am eagerly awaiting Book 8's release in the coming months. Wells has already said that she is working on Book 9.

I wouldn't recommend waiting forever though as these books are awesome. Plus they are generally less large-scale plot and end-game focused books and more of the character/relationship development, world-building, and introspective analysis variety.(less)
