Do you have other sources where he explicitly affirms evolution as fact (on the basis of a correct scientific definition of theory)?

Nevertheless, I find most of this book incredibly useful and cogent. As others have noted (and as he states himself), exegetical-cultural concerns were uppermost for him, with taking a stand re: contemporary conversation about science a much lower priority.(less)
