Anyone know why this book in the series seems to be out of circulation? Library doesn't have it, online library doesn't have it, while they have the previous and subsequent ones; and the cheapest copy I could find on Amazon was $27. For $27, I'm going to skip it!

Is there some reason that I can't find this book or the subsequent one in either my library, or the online library. The earlier and later books in the series, but not these two. Could they have different titles? Is there something wrong with them???

Why was “Elle”in the title?

Helen Geng “Elle” is French for “she”—probably refers to Madame Yvette & Constable Evans’ 2 love interests.
