Can someone remind me of the legend of the roses? I think I remember that red roses was asking for forgiveness, white roses were for granting it, and pink roses were denying it? I was surprised that the specifics were not called out til almost the end of the book, although I may have just missed it earlier since I was listening to it rather than reading it, and sometimes you miss things that way when it skips or…
