I am currently reading this one - and I can't stop wondering what people see in Carter. The book's style is very poor. The author explains stuff like he doesn't trust the reader to know what he means or to remember what he wrote a couple of pages ago. Not sure I feel like trying the next one in line. But here comes my question: do the next books in order get any better or does the writing style get better?
