Sorry, I don't think Goodreads give notifications on questions so I've only just seen this!

In terms of reading age, I'd consider most of my books to be for adults, though I don't think there's anything too gratuitous in this one, and I try to keep bad language to a minimum.

In terms of content, this book has a strong leaning towards hunting, so there is some human-on-animal violence, and vice-versa. The hunting is for survival rather than sport, but I appreciate even that is not for everyone. There is also the occasional human killing human, but that's more in line with your typical fantasy these days.
