When Vic…moreYes, this is probably the book that you're thinking of! Well, I should correct that to say that the lizards wear what look like wristwatches. When Victor looks more closely, he realizes that they're actually pebbles taped to the lizard's wrists, because they like how it looks, but they tell time by guessing/estimating. (less)
