Their romance happens before book 1 and the focus for the books appears to be Neve, Vesper, Effie and eventually Briar. I hope Laila has a story if only a novella or something because they are so sweet but this series of books is the "taming of the dukes" and I do not believe Marsden is a duke. (less)
