One has to…moreSorry for an answer after three years. I just acquired this book in a second hand store. After a difficult start, I'm starting to enjoy it. One has to keep the evolution since 1986 (first edition) or since 1994 (second edition - the one I'm reading) in mind. The internet was still ARPANET in 1986, the browser still had to be invented. E-learning and MOOC didn't exist as they do today. However, essentially, the book is about data, information and knowledge, its nature, politics and management. This topic remains as relevant today as when written. (less)
